Every birthday
resets your price.

Carriers don't price age on a curve — they price it in bands, and the whole premium steps the day you cross into a new one. VitalMatch™, Rocket Life's optimization check, reads your health and your timing together and tells you, before that step happens, whether locking in now is worth more than waiting.

What counts

Four changes that move a whole class.

Each of these has a waiting period attached — a window a carrier wants to see before it will re-price you. The clock is the part most people get wrong, so it leads.

12mo

You quit tobacco

The largest single move on the board — a tobacco rating can roughly double a premium. Most carriers drop it at twelve months clean. A few reserve their best classes for two or three years.

6mo

The weight stayed off

Build charts are stepped, not sloped, so most of a loss changes nothing and one pound changes a class. What carriers want to see is that you crossed a threshold and stayed there.

3mo

Your A1c came down

An A1c reads about three months back. Carriers that decline above 7.5 will often quote well under 6.5 — and they disagree sharply about where in between the line sits.

6mo

You came off blood-pressure medication

Controlled hypertension and resolved hypertension are priced as different things. Readings in range without medication can move a full class on its own.

Not the whole list. Sleep apnea resolved with treatment, cholesterol brought into range, a cancer history that has aged past a carrier’s look-back, a DUI falling off your record — all of them re-price.

The awkward part

Why nobody calls you when this happens.

Your carrier has no mechanism for it.

A term policy fixes its price in the contract on the day it is issued. There is no clause in it for later good news, no annual re-read of your chart, and nobody on staff whose job is to notice that you got healthier.

A better price means a new policy.

Not an amendment to the one you have. It means fresh underwriting, at a carrier whose guidelines happen to reward the thing that changed about you. Which carrier that is depends entirely on what changed.

So the check has to start from your side.

That is the whole product. You tell us what changed, we price it across the carriers we are appointed with, and you find out whether the number moved.

Worth stating plainly

We will never tell you to cancel or lapse coverage you already have. Nothing about your existing policy changes unless a new one is issued and in force — and if the new price isn’t better, the honest answer is that you keep what you’ve got.

What the checkup reads

Three inputs. Nothing else.

Your prescription history
Pulled from ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company, after you sign the HIPAA authorization — never before.
Recent lab work
The handful of numbers underwriters actually key on: A1c, lipids, liver panel, blood pressure, build.
Your own answers
The parts no record holds — what you quit, what you changed, and when you changed it.
And what it does not do
  • Sell or share your health data. It moves in one direction: to us, to quote you.
  • Notify your current carrier that you are shopping.
  • Cost anything. You pay for a policy, if you take one, and nothing else.
  • Guarantee a rate. Every quote is subject to underwriting, and we will tell you when a number looks unlikely to hold.
The other trigger

Your health changed.
Your rate didn’t.

A birthday isn't the only thing that moves a premium. Quit smoking, drop thirty pounds, get your A1c under control — the policy you already have keeps billing the person you used to be. We re-read your health record and find the carrier that prices the person you are now.
